Sumerian, Greek and Latin wellerisms have long been well-known in international proverb scholarship. Unlike ancient Egyptian proverbs, wellerisms have not previously been identified by either Egyptology or proverb scholarship. This poster presents examples identified in Demotic for the first time.Venue
